ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ଏକ୍ସଚେଞ୍ଜରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ଭୋକେସନାଲ୍ ଗାଇଡାନ୍ସ ୟୁନିଟ୍ ଅଛି ଯାହା ବୃତ୍ତିଗତ ଅଧ୍ୟୟନ, ତାଲିମ ସୁବିଧା ଏବଂ ଆସୁଥିବା ବେକାର ଯୁବକ ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପିତାମାତା / ଅଭିଭାବକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ସୁଯୋଗ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ବୃତ୍ତିଗତ ସୂଚନା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥାଏ | ଡିଜିଇ ଏବଂ ଟି ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ବିଭିନ୍ନ କ୍ୟାରିଅର୍ ଉପରେ ସୂଚନା ବ୍ରୋଚର୍ ଏବଂ ବୁକଲେଟ୍, ଶ୍ରମ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଳୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ଏକ୍ସଚେଞ୍ଜରେ ଆସୁଥିବା ଯୁବକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଉପଲବ୍ଧ ଏବଂ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ରୋଜଗାର ସୂଚନା ଏବଂ ଗାଇଡାନ୍ସ ବ୍ୟୁରୋ ମଧ୍ୟ ନିୟମିତ ବ୍ୟବଧାନରେ କ୍ୟାରିୟର ବୁଲେଟିନ୍ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରେ |

ସଂଗଠିତ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଦରମା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଚାକିରିର ଅଭାବ ରାଜ୍ୟର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଚିନ୍ତାର ବିଷୟ ପାଲଟିଛି ଏବଂ ତେଣୁ ବିକଳ୍ପ ପନ୍ଥା ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ପ୍ରୟାସ ଅଛି | ଚାକିରୀ ଖୋଜୁଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ଏବଂ ପାରା-ମିଲିଟାରୀ ଫୋର୍ସରେ ଏକ ବଡ଼ ଅବସର ରହିଛି | ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ରାଲିର ସଫଳ ସଂଗଠନ ପାଇଁ, ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଶାସନର ସହାୟତାରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ଦଳକୁ ଲଜିଷ୍ଟିକ୍ ସହାୟତା ଯୋଗାଇ ଦିଆଯାଉଛି | ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ଆବାସ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାରେ ସାଧାରଣତଃ ଆବାସ, ପରିବହନ, ପାନୀୟ ଜଳ, ଚିକିତ୍ସା ସୁବିଧା, ଆଇନ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ଯୋଗାଇ ଦିଆଯାଏ |

ମିଳିଥିବା ରିପୋର୍ଟ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ୨୦୦୮-୦୯ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ୯୦୨ ଜଣ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ, ୨୦୦୯-୧୦ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ୧୭୧୩ ଜଣ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ଏବଂ ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ସେବାରେ ୨୦୧୦-୧୧ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ୧୬୭୯ ଜଣ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ଚୟନ କରାଯାଇଛି। ୨୦୦୮, ୨୦୦୯ ଏବଂ ୨୦୧୦ ମସିହାରେ ପାରା-ମିଲିଟାରୀ ସର୍ଭିସରେ ଯଥାକ୍ରମେ ୬୩୫, ୧୧୪୪ ଏବଂ ୩୪୬ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ଚୟନ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା |
ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଓ ମହାବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ଛାତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ସୂଚନା ବ୍ୟୁରୋ ଏବଂ ମଡେଲ କ୍ୟାରିୟର କର୍ଣ୍ଣର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା
କ୍ୟାରିଅର୍ ଟକ୍, କ୍ୟାରିଅର୍ କନଫରେନ୍ସ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଚାକିରୀ ଖୋଜୁଥିବା ଛାତ୍ର ଏବଂ ଛାତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ସଂଗଠନ ଭୋକେସନାଲ୍ ଗାଇଡାନ୍ସ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରୁଛି | ବୃତ୍ତି ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନୀ, ଧନ୍ଦାମୂଳକ ମାର୍ଗଦର୍ଶନ ବୁଲେଟିନ୍ ର ପ୍ରକାଶନ, ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବୃତ୍ତି ଏବଂ ସ୍ୱୟଂ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗ ଉପରେ ସୂଚନା ବିସ୍ତାର ଇତ୍ୟାଦି | To promote Vocational Guidance activities in the State 22 Model Career Corners (in Women’s College and in Girl’s High Schools in tribally dominated and backward districts) and 12 Students’ information Bureaus (in leading colleges of the State) have been set up. As per reports available 8848 numbers of students utilized the Students Information Bureaus and 9388 students utilized the Model Career Corners in the year 2010.
Function of Vocational Guidance Units
For dissemination of information and to bring about awareness among the students and jobseekers of the State, the functions of Vocational Guidance Units cover the following areas of guidance activities:
- To provide individual information & to assist the jobseekers in choosing their careers.
- Collection and compilation of occupational information with a view to disseminate this information to the needy jobseekers, educational institutions, parents and teachers.
- To provide career information, career literatures, posters highlighting various job opportunities and publishing career bulletins for the benefit of the jobseekers.
- To organize Career Talks, Career Conferences, Career Exhibitions etc. in educational institutions on different careers and self-employment ventures.
